When I first found out my husband was accepted into medical school in Florida and we made the decision to leave Lexington, I began thinking of ways to reach out to new customers in our new, sunny home. I decided to start an online contest to help spread the word about my wedding photography business which would soon be taking appointments in Fort Lauderdale and Miami. The contest was “free wedding photography in South Florida to the couple who go the most people to like my page.”  Yadira hit the streets with fliers (so creative!) and ‘blew up’ her and Leo’s facebook pages to get the most likers and win the contest… despite strong competition, they won the contest by a landslide.  They are both so sweet and after knowing them on facebook for 2 years, it was so fun to FINALLY meet these 2 love birds in person. We did their bridal session at Vizcaya in Miami, Florida.  Makeup artist, Susana Betancourt, was there to do Yadira’s hair and makeup and half way thru, she put up Yadira’s hair and gave her a more dramatic look.  It was such a steamy day, but the hours just flew by because these 2 were so much fun to photograph.  Posing, kissing, showing off their chemistry…it was all soooo perfect and so amazing to photograph.  Can’t wait to go back to Vizcaya….it is now my favorite venue to photograph.  Can you blame me?!
