The day started out at Castle Post in Lexington, Kentucky. The girls got ready in a suite in one of the turrets, which was so incredibly unique and felt so fitting (since Danielle looked like a member of the royal family). Danielle is one of the sweetest girls I’ve worked with and has a wonderful group of friends. I loved watching them beam at the sight of Danielle in her wedding gown. It was evident they were truly overjoyed for their friend.
JK is such a great guy too…so kind, warm, and genuine. They were both beyond blissful and it was an absolute joy to photograph their love.
The ceremony was held at Christ the King in Lexington (which is where my husband and I got married) and their reception was at Keene Barn at Keeneland Race Track. Suuuuuch an awesome wedding reception venue. It’s the first time I’ve shot at Keene Barn and I was not only impressed with the venue, but the enthusiastic wedding party, family, and guests made it a truly memorable evening for everyone involved.
Enjoy this preview of Danielle and JK’s big day in Lexington, KY!
